Well, it's 9:00 central mayan time and the world is still here...damn, are those sirens I hear, no? OK, so much for yet another end of the world threat.
So this makes three, first was 1999 when everything was supposed to come crashing down because of the shortsightedness of computer programmers not adding two more digits to their coding.
But actually that scenario was prolonged because actually there was never a year 0 and Jesus needed 2000 years exactly to re appear...well that didn't happen.
Now the Mayans had their shot and we are still around with all that Christmas shopping still left to do.
Did we really think it was going to happen on some schedule...could it really.
Calamity will always come when you least expect it and it will squeeze your scrotum no matter how much you prepare for it.
